The album's lead single is "Year of the Snake," which the group performed later.

Arcade Fire hasn't yet announced a tour in support of their latest album. Their next scheduled show is Wednesday at London's Royal Albert Hall, which comes on the heels of dates in Canada and along the U.S. east coast.

The band last appeared on SNL three years ago for what was also that season's Mother's Day episode. They did, however, perform at the late night show's 50th anniversary homecoming concert in February, joining David Byrne and St. Vincent for a rendition of David Bowie's "Heroes."
