Support local arts: High Desert residents shine in September productions
One way to give back to the High Desert is to attend and support local events, from parades and farmers' markets to pop-ups and theater productions .
This month, dozens of High Desert residents will debut in two separate productions at the Cultural Arts Center : A Golden Age Cabaret and Clue, both produced by Phil 413 Productions.
Step back in time and experience the glamour, romance and unforgettable music of the golden age of musical theater with A Golden Age Cabaret.
The show, which will play from Sept. 4 to Sept. 6, celebrates the timeless songs that helped define musical theater and is performed and directed by an incredible lineup of 12 local thespians .

Get ready for a hilarious night of mystery, mayhem, murder and comedy with the audience favorite, Clue. Based on the iconic Hasbro board game and beloved film, Clue brings the infamous characters of Boddy Manor to the stage in a fast-paced theatrical whodunit filled with twists, turns, outrageous characters and plenty of surprises.
Clue will run from Sept. 11 to Sept. 20.

Bringing Broadway to the High Desert
Phil 413 Productions is a High Desert theater company with a mission to bring Broadway-caliber shows and classes to the High Desert.
Both online and in-person private acting classes are available through Phil 413 Productions. Online classes include those for beginner, intermediate and advanced students looking to practice and improve their acting skills.
