‘Yellowstone’ Fans Rejoice As Beloved Star Joins ‘Grey’s Anatomy’
- Piper Perabo, known for her role in Yellowstone, will be joining Grey’s Anatomy in a recurring role as Jenna Gatlin, the mother of a child in need of brain surgery at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

Piper Perabo, who appeared in 12 episodes of the Kevin Costner-led cowboy drama as environmental activist Summer Higgins, will be joining the 21st season of Grey's Anatomy in a recurring role.
Per Variety , the Golden Globe nominee will appear in the ABC drama as Jenna Gatlin, the mother of a 9-year-old in need of risky brain surgery at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.
Perabo will first appear in the 16th episode of the current season, which airs on May 1. She'll then have subsequent appearances in episode 17 and in the season finale, episode 18.
The finale, airing May 15, is titled "How Do I Live," and will feature an unexpected turn when a medical emergency arises in an operating room that will endanger lives in the hospital, reports Deadline .
Prior to Grey's Anatomy and Yellowstone , Perabo most recently had a 10-episode arc on Billions from 2022 to 2023, and an 11-episode arc on The Big Leap in 2021.
Fans reacted positively to the news on social media, tweeting that they will "have to start watching GA again cause the queen Piper Perabo will be in it," and lamenting that, as of now, she's expected to appear "for only 3 episodes."
