FX has released a sizzle reel highlighting upcoming shows for the 2025 season. Within the roughly one-minute teaser, the network dropped a quick preview of clips from The Bear , which was renewed for a fourth season prior to the season three premiere in June 2024. The promo video starts with Sydney (Ayo Edebiri) asking, "Why can't we put everything that we have into everything that we can?" The next snippet is of the kitchen staff, including Liza Colón-Zayas as Tina and Lionel Boyce as Marcus, clapping and while Sydney and Carmy ( Jeremy Allen White ) embrace. So, things are looking promising despite last season's cliffhanger.
If you recall, the third installment wrapped with Carmy finally getting his anticipated Chicago Tribune review. Though, we don't know yet whether it was good or bad. In another quick promo shot for season four, Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) can be seen angrily slamming a newspaper down on a kitchen counter, leaving plenty of room for speculation.
By the end of the third season, Sydney was contemplating leaving her post at The Bear to work at chef Adam Shapiro's new restaurant. "Sometimes I feel like your work family is, like, part of your family-family," she can be seen explaining to Carmy's mom Donna, played by Jamie Lee Curtis. Afterward, a montage follows of chef Luca (Will Poulter) dapping up Marcus, Richie dapping up Neil (Matty Matheson), while Natalie (Abby Elliott) and Marcus share a hug. So do former foes Sydney and Richie.
"There's probably one really true thing, you are never alone," Carmy says before the montage finishes. However, it's unclear who exactly he's speaking to. We can likely expect The Bear season four to arrive this summer. Each season so far has dropped in June—season one in 2022, season two in 2023, and season three in 2024—so we're hopeful the fourth season will follow suit and premiere on Hulu in June 2025. No word yet if there's a fifth installment on the horizon, but we'll keep you posted, chef.
