Big Sean And The Alchemist Release Music Video For ‘Together Forever’
- Music video for "Together Forever" features Big Sean and The Alchemist in a field playing in an old car, with Sean rapping in tailored suits against a city skyline backdrop.
"Together Forever" is produced by The Alchemist and is an infectious soul ballad juxtaposed by Sean's laid-back Detroit D-boy delivery.
The music video finds Sean together with The Alchemist largely in a field. The two play in and out of an empty old car. Clad in tailored suits, Sean raps as cameras catch him at different angles—placing him against the backdrop of the skyline a la Queen Sugar.
"Together Forever" is another of Sean's singles to appear on the rapper's Better Me Than You album which will be his first project since 2020.
In an interview with Charlamagne Tha God, he admitted to the Kendrick vs. Drake beef serving as a distraction, "It did drown it out, bro. You gotta think about it: If it's like Metro Boomin and Future, and then Kendrick addressing J. Cole and Drake on 'First Person Shooter'… there's a whole thing," he expressed. "As opposed to me – I hadn't even dropped music in years, bro, and I'm just like a return, so I understood. I was surprised too."
A premature version of the album was leaked recently leaving fans to speculate whether Kanye West was behind it, though Sean was quick to stop rumors saying, "I know he ain't do that sht. I love Ye. Without him, there would be no me."
VIBE reported on the Detroit emcee's decision to push the album back.
The rapper took to Instagram to make the announcement with an assist from influencer and content creator Jordan Howlett.
