Blake Lively Makes Surprise Appearance for ‘SNL50: The Anniversary Special’ in Crystal-Studded Aquazzura Sandals With Ryan Reynolds

Blake Lively made an unanticipated appearance on Sunday for " SNL 50: The Anniversary Special ." The star is currently embroiled in a legal battle with "It Ends With Us" producer Justin Baldoni and this is her first public appearance since. But on Sunday she and husband Ryan Reynolds put that behind them to walk the red carpet for comedy.

Lively wore a silver crystallized gown with a flower embellishment at the bodice. The look appeared to be a Tamara Ralph Fall 2024 Couture Dress, who often designs for the star.

For shoes, Lively went to another name she's familiar with: Aquazzura. In fact, she wore a pair of sandals she's worn before: the Aquazzura Mini-Tequila sandal. The dainty shoe is an open-toe style. It is composed of one strap across the toes. Another wraps slingback style around the back of the foot before finishing around the ankle. Each strap is made of leather studded with small crystals and the sole of the shoe is gold.
The ankle strap includes a small buckle. The stiletto heel on the back is more than four inches. It does not appear that Aquazzura currently sells the Mini-Tequila sandal any longer.
Lively has worn the silhouette on at least one other occasion. While promoting "It Ends With Us," Lively wore the sandal with a floral dress from Oscar de la Renta. She wore that look in August . She's also worn another version of the Mini Tequila which offers small crystals but in a three strap arrangement as opposed to two. When she's not in Aquazzura, Lively is also a massive fan of Christian Louboutin. And the love is mutual: Louboutin introduced the Blake in 2011, named after Lively.

This weekend has seen the celebration of 50 years of "Saturday Night Live." On Friday, that included a concert event. Tonight is the anniversary special with the likes of Cher, Miley Cyrus, Pedro Pascal, Miles Teller and Leslie Jones as guests to participate.
