Carly Pearce Shares Health Update With Fans Revealing Shows Will "Look A Little Bit Different"

Carly Pearce is keeping fans up to date as she experiences major life changes. The country singer has been busy opening for Tim McGraw's "Standing Room Only" tour and preparing for the release of her new album Hummingbird . In the midst of this busy season, Carly is struggling with evolving health issues.

Carly shared a video on TikTok, updating fans on her health status and managing expectations for her upcoming tour dates and performances. "I have always been transparent and honest about every part of my life, so I feel like this deserves the same honesty," Carly prefaced.

"You guys know that I've been dealing with some health issues and through that I have developed something called pericarditis, which is a heart issue," Carly explains. With this development, Carly had to make some difficult decisions in regard to her tour schedule.

"I still want to be out on the road, it's really important to me," Carly says. After discussing the best course of action with her cardiologist and other doctors, Carly shared that her best course of action is to modify her shows. Pearce will continue her tour, but her shows will "look a little bit different" in the coming months. "I have to keep my heart rate under control right now," she elaborated.

She reassured fans that the health scare isn't cause for alarm: "That doesn't mean that I'm not gonna be completely fine, it just means right now I've gotta take this really seriously." According to the America Heart Association , Pericarditis causes chest pain but often clears up on its own with time.

"I'm asking for a little bit of grace," Pearce says.

Supportive fans offered well wishes and words of encouragement in the comments section of her video. "I hope you feel better soon and we love you too. 🙂" and "Put YOU first!!! Get better, your fans will always be here!," fans wrote.

Carly used her situation as an opportunity to remind fans to take care of themselves. "I'm a young healthy person that watches what I eat and exercise and this happened to me. I just want to use my platform to tell you to take care of your body and listen to it," she urged. "I love you guys and I'll see you soon," she concluded.
