Casaday Costume Company takes center stage at Art League luncheon

Four women model costumes available for rent by regional arts and educational organizations and by individuals from the Casaday Costume Company. Greta Fisher, the company's executive director, will talk about the collection and James Casaday, the Central High School drama teacher who started it, at The Art League's lunch Oct. 17, 2023, at Morris Park Country Club in South Bend.

SOUTH BEND — The Art League holds its next monthly lunch at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 17 at Morris Park Country Club, 2200 McKinley Ave.

Greta Fisher, executive director of the Casaday Costume Company, will speak about James Casaday and how the costume collection came into existence.

The mission of the organization is to "preserve, enhance, and provide a costume collection for regional arts and educational organizations and the public."

Fisher has a master's degree in lighting design and has been at the Casaday Costume Company for five years.

Cost is $30.

Reservations are due Oct. 10.
