Ernie Clement Engaged: Fiancée Shares Proposal Details Before Blue Jays Game
Toronto Blue Jays infielder Ernie Clement has emerged as a fan favorite this year. His rise began during the 2025 postseason when he helped the Blue Jays earn a trip to the World Series and set a record for most hits by a player in a single postseason.
He continued that momentum this year by becoming the first player selected to the American League All-Star Game via the fan vote, and he is well deserving. The 30-year-old veteran remains one of the best defensive infielders in the league.
At the plate he has posted a .276 batting average, .301 on-base percentage, .691 OPS, nine home runs and 43 RBIs.

As Clement and the Blue Jays prepare for a huge series against the Cleveland Guardians, which also happens to be the team Clement made his big-league debut for, he made a significant step forward in his personal life.
Clement's relationship with his girlfriend Stefanie Brejcha became public back in January 2024, and since then the two have been inseparable. On Monday, they officially got engaged. Brejcha made a post on Instagram showcasing pictures of the proposal.
"Surprise!!💍 The best guy, the best friends, and the best family. Feeling all the love this weekend in the most special spot in the world. Now let's do this thing!!!" she wrote.
With Clement celebrating his engagement off the field, he is hopeful that is not the only ring he gets this year as he searches to bring a World Series title back to Toronto. The Blue Jays will take on the Guardians at 3:40 EDT.
