Hugh Jackman’s Ex Deborra-Lee Furness ‘Done Protecting Him’ Amid Memoir Talks: ‘He’s Made His Bed’
- Deborra-Lee Furness is considering publishing a memoir about her relationship with Hugh Jackman, including details of his alleged affair with Sutton Foster and other incidents, potentially leading to a bidding war for the book.
Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness ' messy split may be heading for an even uglier turn.
"She's still very hurt and betrayed by Hugh's actions and is now ready to push the red button on some … plans that have been on ice for well over a year now," a source tells Globe .
In the Wednesday, October 22, edition of Rob Shuter's Naughty But Nice Substack, a publishing insider revealed a bidding war was underway for Furness' book, which is being described as a "bold, emotional memoir about love, identity and starting over."
"For Deb to justify the big bucks, she'll have to lay everything out there ," notes the source, including Jackman's alleged affair with girlfriend Sutton Foster and "other occasions where he wasn't exactly lily-white."

According to Globe 's source, "there's also a lot of interest in Deb telling her side of things in a fly-on-the-wall documentary."
The Australian actress has "hundreds of hours' worth of home video footage dating back to their very earliest times together," the source reveals, "and there's no legal issue with her airing it as she owns the copyright, so it's hers to do as she pleases with."
For Jackman, "all this is the ultimate nightmare," says the source. "He just wants to move on with his life and wishes to God that Deb would stop being so petty ."

As Globe previously reported, Furness seemingly took a dig at her ex-husband , 57, in the comments section of an Instagram video Kerry Washington posted in April to promote her new Apple TV+ show, Imperfect Women .
"You cannot trust ANYBODY… EVER," the Scandal alum, 49, wrote in the caption.
"HILARIOUS .,,, so true," she replied.
"There's also a real worry on his side that the mud will stick [once Deb does her tell-all] and people will see him as this major love rat who's been living a lie and conning his fans with a false image," admits the source.
Furness, however, "is done holding back and essentially protecting him," the source says. "He's made his bed for himself and now he's going to have to deal with the consequences ."
