Meghan Markle Won’t ‘Dignify’ ‘Twisted’ Claims She and Prince Harry Used Kids to ‘Blackmail’ King Charles

Meghan Markle is sickened by the suggestion that she and Prince Harry used their children, Prince Archie , 7, and Princess Lilibet , 5, to gain security and special treatment, a source tells Examiner .
The Sussexes had intended to return to London together as a family but due to security concerns , the 41-year-old royal arrived in the U.K. on Monday, July 6, without Meghan, 44, or their kids, per People .
During an appearance on The Royalist Podcast , the Daily Beast 's royals expert Tom Sykes claimed that the decision felt like a "really blatant attempt" to "emotionally blackmail" Harry's father King Charles III "into intervening in the security decisions of the British state."
The last time the cancer-stricken monarch, 77, is believed to have seen his grandchildren was in 2022 during Queen Elizabeth II 's Platinum Jubilee.
"To Meghan, this is about as low as it gets," says the source. "To have people tearing her down and making hurtful and untrue claims is bad enough but to drag her children into it is just beyond the pale. They are going to grow up and potentially read all this poison someday, it boggles her mind that people could be so cruel."

To make matters worse, Meghan is "sure that a lot of this ugly narrative is being sanctioned or even pushed by people behind the palace walls ," spills the source.
"She can't believe anyone would seriously suggest she and Harry are using Archie and Lilibet to blackmail the King to get what they want," the source says. "As far as Meghan's concerned, that's twisted thinking and completely beneath her."
As Examiner previously reported, a source says security is the most important thing to the Sussexes because it involves the safety of their family, which will always be vulnerable to threats to an extent.
"As much as she would love to hit back, she refuses to dignify this sort of ugliness by getting into another public back and forth," reveals the source. "She knows that's exactly what these people want."
