Heidi Klum's costume revealed – See her bloody 2026 Halloween party look

Heidi Klum's latest Halloween transformation is finally here.
The supermodel and "Project Runway" host, 53, arrived at her annual Halloween party Saturday, Oct. 31, dressed as a life-sized severed manicured hand, unveiling the look at Cathédrale in New York.
Her legs made up two of the fingers on the hand, which featured red-painted fingernails, gold rings and a gory gash at the wrist close to where her face popped out, complete with added prosthetics to make it extra scary.
The reveal followed days of cryptic clues from Klum, whose elaborate costumes have included a giant worm , a peacock and a snake-haired Medusa .

"I'm feeling great," Klum tells USA TODAY on the blue carpet. "I think it was about 10, 15 people to help me [get into the costume] today, but you know, there's many more people that were working on this for months already. I had this idea already last year, and they've been stewing on figuring out how to get me into this hand. And they've been building it, painting it," she says, pointing out "all these little details, all the veins and everything."
"It's a lot," she says. "It was wild when I saw it today, I was like, 'Wow, it actually turned out exactly the way I wanted it.' It's so fun when you have a crazy idea and then it becomes reality."

Klum's daughter, Leni, noted that her mom's costume had a special detail: She incorporated her wedding ring as one of the pieces of jewelry on the hand.
"I just saw my mom, I love that she added her wedding ring onto the costume. I think it's sick, and I'm going to have a great night" Leni Klum tells USA TODAY.
The 22-year-old, dressed as a glamorous Miss Piggy with a purple feather boa, pearls and a pink snout, says her model mom's costumes are "always a 10."
"It always looks amazing, and I think everyone can agree with me," Leni Klum says. "To see it in person is so much cooler."
She says she wasn't able to see her mom's costumes in person, but "when I started, I think now this is my fourth year seeing it in person, it's just wild. It's not even like the photos. So seeing it live and seeing her stand right next to me is like, 'Woah.'"

Klum's husband Tom Kaulitz , who often joins her in a coordinated Halloween costume, missed this year's festivities. Klum previously told Entertainment Tonight ahead of the party that Kaulitz was "not going to be here because he's on tour sadly," noting she would "miss him" and that he would "miss the biggest party of the year."
"I thought this would have been a great couple's costume, because if my husband could have been here he could have been the other hand," Klum tells USA TODAY at her party. "Boom, it could have been like left hand, right hand. He could have been my right hand!"

Heidi Klum teased her 2026 Halloween costume
At her Oct. 29 pre-party, Klum offered USA TODAY a new clue about the transformation . "My body is going to fit in a shape that normally a human body would not fit in," she says.
Klum also teased the costume on social media, sharing photos and videos of what appeared to be organs and tissue without revealing the full look.

Klum also teased that this year's costume would be "very, very bloody."
The model says she's open to letting fans choose a future costume, provided she could see the options first. Still, she says, keeping people guessing is part of the fun.
"I find it more fun when you don't know anything at all," she says.
Getting into character also takes time. Klum said she typically spends more time getting ready than celebrating Halloween because of the hours required to bring her elaborate costumes to life, particularly those involving prosthetics.
On the topic of coordinating with Kaulitz, Klum makes the decisions.
"Tom definitely does not have a final say in the couple costume or any kind of costume," she says. "No, he totally lets me be the boss when it comes to costumes. Rightfully so, I think."
From E.T. Medusa: All of Heidi Klum's Halloween costumes
In 2025, Klum transformed into a scaly, green Medusa , while Kaulitz dressed as a soldier turned to stone.
That followed her E.T. costume in 2024 and peacock look in 2023 . Her giant worm costume from 2022 remains a look she would happily revisit.
When it comes to repeating a Halloween costume, Klum gave the idea her approval.
"I would definitely say yay, and especially if you have a great-looking worm costume in your closet," she says. "I would definitely wear that over and over again."
Taking a year off, however, got a different response.

"Taking a year off? Are you crazy?" she says.
Klum recalled spending three days in a hospital before traveling to New York for her 14th annual Halloween party when she dressed as an elderly woman.
"I came straight out of the hospital, but I still went," she says. "For me not to go? Yeah, that's not gonna happen."
