“I do think a lot of athletes are not great partners” - Madison Pettis on why she ended things with Michael Porter Jr. before the NBA
  • Former Disney actress Madison Pettis revealed on a podcast that she broke up with her ex-boyfriend, Brooklyn Nets player Michael Porter Jr., because he has a disordered personality.

Former Disney actress Madison Pettis made a candid admission about her ex-boyfriend, now Brooklyn Nets superstar Michael Porter Jr ., during her recent appearance on "In Your Dreams with Owen Thiele."

Pettis and Porter dated from 2016 to 2017 and were one of basketball's hot couples during that time. Pettis was a young movie star, while Porter was the best high school basketball player in the country, and they were a lovely couple to behold.

However, as she told Thiele on the podcast, she got out of their relationship because Porter Jr. has a disordered personality.

That's the reason why she broke up with MPJ

It's unclear how MPJ crossed paths with Madison, since he lived in Missouri until his senior year of high school, when he played for Nathan Hale in Seattle, while Madison was based in Los Angeles. But as Porter revealed, they followed each other on Instagram after their first meeting. And because he had a crush on the actress, she slid into her DMs and the rest is history.

Porter wasn't a topic of Pettis' conversation with Thiele in the podcast. Still, after she revealed that she watched a lot of basketball because she has an NBA League Pass subscription. She is a big Golden State Warriors fan, Owen asked her if she would consider becoming a "basketball wife. That's when the cookie crumbled.

"Um, yeah," she said . "I mean, my ex is now in the NBA. When we dated, he was in high school and college. I broke up with him before he was in the league because he was a psychopath. I do think a lot of athletes are not great partners, but I wouldn't, like, rule it out because I do love what they do. I would have respect for them and love to talk to them about their passion.

MPJ shows Andrew Tate videos to his dates

It's safe to say that the two have moved on well from each other. Pettis' latest movie, "The Wrong Paris", was just released last September, and she is still one of filmdom's bankable young actresses. Meanwhile, Porter is having a career season for the Brooklyn Nets after he was traded by the Denver Nuggets during the last offseason.

Interestingly, Porter Jr. had a controversial offseason, gaining notoriety for his crazy social media takes. These included saying that a McDonald's boys HS team can beat a WNBA All-Star team. He also declared that his heart would get hurt if he had a gay son or a "thot daughter." Mike also wondered how Sophie Raine earns so much on OF.

But perhaps his most peculiar revelation was that he showed Andrew Tate videos to women that he dates.

"I need to see a little bit about their, like, beliefs," said Porter. "So, I'm not saying I'm a misogynist or anything, but I'll throw on some Andrew Tate and see how they react... I'll bring up, like, conversations and play devil's advocate just to see how this girl, like, thinks about certain things."

It's mind-boggling why a guy would show women he is dating videos of Tate. But that's how crazy MPJ's offseason was. Well, maybe it wasn't just last summer. Maybe all the controversial things he said are part of who he is.
