‘The Challenge’ Stars Who Have Been on the Most Seasons: Johnny Bananas, CT and More Legends

Johnny 'Bananas' Devenanzio -- 22 — Bananas has the most wins of any Challenge competitor with seven in total, but he upped his odds by appearing on more seasons than anyone else. CT Tamburello -- 20 — CT took a few years off from The Challenge after Diem Brown’s death. However, he’s still made 20 appearances on the flagship show – with four wins total – in addition to Champs vs. Pros and two seasons of Champs vs. Stars (both of which he won). (Getty)

Aneesa Ferriera -- 17 — Although Aneesa has yet to win a season of The Challenge, it hasn’t been for lack of trying. The OG competitor has 17 seasons under her belt, as well as appearances on both seasons of Champs vs. Stars and a season of All Stars. She’s also a cast member on season 5 of All Stars in 2025. Cara Maria Sorbello -- 15 — Cara Maria has had an incredible arc as a Challenge competitor. In addition to her 15 flagship appearances, where she’s secured two wins, she also won Champs vs. Pros and made it to the final on season 4 of All Stars. (Getty)

Wes Bergmann -- 14 — In 2023, Wes said he was retiring from The Challenge. Still, he’s had a legendary run, with 14 flagship appearances resulting in two wins. He also earned a win on season 3 of All Stars and showed up on Champs vs. Pros and both seasons of Champs vs. Stars. (Getty)

Leroy Garrett -- 13 — Leroy is still looking for that elusive win after 13 flagship seasons and an All Stars season. He will be on season 5 of All Stars as well. (Getty)

Veronica Portillo -- 12 — Veronica is an OG Challenge competitor with 12 seasons under her belt and three wins. She was also on Champs vs. Pros and two seasons of All Stars, with an appearance on All Stars season 5 coming up. (v_cakes/Instagram)

Derrick Kosinski -- 11 — Derrick’s had three wins in his 11 flagship appearances. He’s also shown up on three seasons of All Stars. (Getty)

Darrell Taylor -- 11 — Darrell is a four-time winner after 11 flagship seasons. He also won Champs vs. Pros and has been on three seasons of All Stars. (Getty)

These stars are the faces of MTV's The Challenge and they simply can't get enough of the game! Since its premiere as Road Rules: All Stars in 1998, The Challenge has produced a number of legendary competitors, with a majority of contestants returning for multiple seasons.

None have played the game more than these stars, who have all appeared on the flagship show more than ten times throughout their Challenge careers. Plus, most of them have shown up on spinoffs like Champs vs. Stars and The Challenge: USA too.
