David Bowie Tributes on Late Night: Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Fallon & Colbert Salute the Legend

Conan had the greatest first-hand connection. He had interviewed the man himself several times over his show's history, so he fired up some archival gems last night (Jan. 11). Watch the clip below for some humorous looks at Bowie personas that could have been (the "corn on the cob period"), a completely made up story about drinking with Elvis, and a songwriting showdown with Conan.

Ever the music aficionado, Jimmy Fallon showed off Bowie's Blackstar vinyl and announced plans to get in touch with Bowie: "I hope he checks his e-mail in space."
