Downtown Acquires Songs by Rascal Flatts, Reba McEntire & More From Nashville Publisher Major Bob Music
Downtown Music Publishing has acquired a over 2,000 copyrights from Major Bob Music's catalog, including hits byRascal Flatts,Thomas Rhett,Lady Antebellum,Kenny Chesney,Reba McEntireand more.
The deal specifically excludes theGarth Brookscatalog and any songs he has recorded.

Under the terms of the agreement, Downtown Music now owns copyrights to such notable songs as "I Like The Sound Of That" and "Fast Cars and Freedom" by Rascal Flatts, "Crash & Burn" and "Marry Me" by Thomas Rhett, "Dirt On My Boots" byJon Pardi, "It Don't Hurt Like It Used To" and "I've Got A Feeling" byBilly Currington, "Where It's At" byDustin Lynch, "American Honey" by Lady Antebellum, "There Goes My Life" by Kenny Chesney, "Commitment" byLeAnn Rimes, "Strange" by Reba McEntire, "Our Time Now" byPlain White T's and "Fly Over States" byJason Aldean.
