2025: Dunkin' teases Super Bowl ad with Afflecks, Jeremy Strong

Although we'll have to wait until Sunday to see Dunkin's newest Super Bowl ad, the coffee chain already released a teaser featuring Ben and Casey Affleck as well as fellow Massachusetts native Jeremy Strong.

In the ad, which is called "the bean method," Ben and Casey Affleck knock on Strong's dressing room while decked out in their DunKings tracksuits.

Casey Affleck warns his brother that "Jeremy is a method actor, he's not coming out until he's ready."

"He's preparing, he's doing his research," Casey Affleck adds, to which Ben Affleck responds, "I never did no research on nothing, look where I'm at."

When the brothers enter Strong's dressing room, they find him soaking in a barrel of coffee grounds. He says he's "just trying to find the character" for the trio's Dunkin commercial.

"I think I found a way in," Strong says. "You're from Boston, I'm from Boston. Dunkin' is Boston. Boston is Paul Revere, one if by land, two if by sea, the red coats are coming."

The clip ends with Casey Affleck saying they "should have paid for Matt."

2024: DunKings debut with Ben Affleck, Tom Brady and more

Dunkin' fans surely remember last year's star-studded Super Bowl ad that launched the DunKings.

In the minute-long clip, Affleck tells rapper Jack Harlow that he wants to show his then-wife Jennifer Lopez his rapping skills.

Moments later, decked out in a DunKings tracksuit, Affleck arrives at Lopez's recording studio with a few friends.

"What up Bronx? For your consideration: here comes the Boston massacre — the DunKings," he declares.

The shot then pans to Affleck's DJ, New England Patriots legend Tom Brady who the actor aptly calls "Touchdown Tommy."

He also introduces fellow Cambridge native Matt Damon , who tells Affleck, "sometimes it's really hard to be your friend."

The group dances to a short DunKings rap, which ends with Damon saying, "how do you like them donuts," a nod to his iconic "Good Will Hunting" line.

"Are we gonna be on the album?" Brady asks Lopez.

2023: Ben Affleck works the Dunkin' drive-thru

In 2023, Dunkin' ran its first-ever Super Bowl commercial , and it featured Affleck working the drive-thru at the chain's Medford location.

As customers passed through the store, Affleck promoted the chain's $1 donut with any medium or large coffee deal.

At the end of the clip, Lopez makes a surprise appearance to ask what her then-husband is doing.

"Is this what you do when you say you're going to work all day?" she says before asking for her own glazed donut.
