Elkhart County Symphony presents 'Operatic Reveries' featuring Brian Major

ELKHART — The Elkhart County Symphony performs at 4 p.m. Feb. 4 at The Lerner Theatre, 410 S. Main St.

Titled "Operatic Reveries," the concert features recitalist and opera singer Brian Major as a guest baritone.

Major holds degrees from Morehouse College, Boston University and Michigan State University and has previously performed with the Elkhart County Symphony, as well as The Metropolitan Opera, Hearing in Color in Chicago, Toledo Opera, Opera Grand Rapids, Opera Carolina and Theatro Municipal de São Paulo.

In addition to arias sung by Major, the program includes Von Suppe's "Poet & Peasant" Overture, Bizet's "Carmen" Suite No. 1, Verdi's Prelude to Act I from "La Traviata" and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 2 in C minor, Opus 17.

Tickets are $35-$14.
