Enjoy an evening of Irish jigs, reels, hornpipes and aires, along with songs and stories
ST. JOSEPH — Kennedy's Kitchen performs at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 8 at the Box Factory for the Arts, 1101 Broad St.
The South Bend-based Celtic music band is billed as "kitchen music from the home, the hearth, and the heart," according to a press release.
The band's material includes toe-tapping jigs, reels, hornpipes and aires, along with songs and comedic stories.
The band is led by award-winning singer, guitarist and storyteller joHn Kennedy, who is joined by Chris O'Brien, Joel Cooper, Mike Bill and Nancy Turner.
Together, they sing and play fiddle, flute, whistle, bouzouki, banjo, harmonica, bodhran and bass.
Kennedy's Kitchen has released six CDs, including 2019's "The Whiskey of Truth" 2013's "The Birds Upon The Trees."
Tickets are $25-$15 in advance; $20 at the door for general admission and free for ages 12 and younger.
