Florida’s Hulk Hogan's new Real American Beer. Why NASCAR fans will notice, where to get it
Brother, are you looking for an all-American drink? Twelve-time world wrestling champion Hulk Hogan, last seen ripping off his shirt at the 2024 Republican National Committee, has you covered with his new Real American Beer .
Since Clearwater resident Hogan launched his star-spangled light beer at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino last June, he's been taking it on tour around the country, including South Florida again last month. The beer, which comes in a red, white and blue can depicting a characteristically shirtless Hogan waving an American flag, advertises itself as "light, crisp and crushable" and boasts 4.2% ABV and "100% North American ingredients."
Next up: Hogan will be in Las Vegas this weekend to promote his brew and its presence on the front of the No. 47 car driven by Ricky Stenhouse Jr. in the Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Real American Beer is also an official partner of WWE, although the Hall of Famer was booed when he appeared during the first WWE Monday Night Raw event streamed on Netflix in January to promote his new venture.
"You, the fans, have been my greatest tag team partner because you guys have stuck with me through thick and thin dudes," Hogan said to the still-booing crowd. "You know, I got a new tag-team partner right now. I got Hulk Hogan's Real American Beer."
Who is Hulk Hogan?
Born Terry Gene Bollea in Augusta, Georgia, Hulk Hogan , 71, is one of the greatest — certainly one of the most attention-getting — professional wrestlers and pop culture icons of all time.
Hogan's family moved to Florida when he was young where he grew up to play Little League baseball and, later, bass guitar in several rock bands with some success. Wrestlers working out at the same gym he did talked him into trying out, and his new career began.
WWE called him "the key figure in WWE's rise from regional attraction to worldwide entertainment leader in the 1980s," citing his "superhuman size and undeniable charisma."
Hogan won 12 world championships, including six WWF/WWE championships, six WCW World Heavyweight championships, and is a former WWE World Tag Team Champion with fellow wrestler Edge. He's also voiced his own animated series and video games and appeared in commercials, television shows and movies, including "Rocky IV" and his own reality show, "Hogan Knows Best." He dubbed his vast legion of fans his Hulkamaniacs.
Not everything has gone smoothly. Hogan has been involved in several controversial incidents , including a lawsuit over hurting a talk show host while demonstrating a wrestling move, steroid use, and a leaked sex tape. On the sex tape he can be heard issuing an anti-Black rant, which resulted in his temporary removal from the WWE Hall of Fame.
Hogan has lived in Tampa and Miami , got married and then divorced and then married again here, and now resides in Clearwater where he opened a Hulkamania shop (with another in Orlando). In 2023, Hogan was baptized along with his wife, Sky, at Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Largo.
After a 35-year career, Hogan officially retired from wrestling in 2012. His previous marketing ventures include a restaurant called Pastamania (closed in under a year), the energy drink Hogan Energy, a line of microwavable hamburgers and chicken sandwiches, nutritional and dietary products , a beachfront restaurant called Hogan's Beach in Tampa (dropped his name three years later) and the Hogan's Hangout restaurant in Clearwater Beach.
And yes, Hogan's Hangout serves Real American Beer.
