Frito-Lay Will Have Your Taste Buds Spinning With Limited-Edition Chips Inspired by 'Twisters' Movie

Frito-Lay  announced a bold twist on fan-favorite flavors in honor of the film  Twisters , which hits theaters on July 19.

The brand revealed its new limited-edition offering on Thursday, July 11.

"For the first time in the brand’s history, Fritos is blending two flavors—Flavor Twists Flamin' Hot and Flavor Twists Ranch into one bag with an exclusive, limited-edition Fritos X Twisters snack," Frito-Lay said in a news release. "Even the spiral shape itself is a true 'Twister.'"

It's the perfect pairing, right? However, there is a catch.

Only a select few fans can get their hands on the limited-edition Fritos X Twisters snack. For your chance to snag a bag—as well as tickets to the movie and exclusive Twisters merch—fans must follow Fritos on Instagram , like its July 11 post and comment a tornado emoji (🌪).

The news release from Frito-Lay noted that those who catch Twisters can also spot the Fritos X Twisters snack on screen.

The 1996 cult classic film  Twister  starred Helen Huntand Bill Paxton. However, the 2024 Twisters stars  Daisy Edgar-Jones and Glen Powell, a retired tornado-chaser and meteorologist, respectively, who are "persuaded to return to Oklahoma to work with a new team and new technologies,"  per the plot synopsis .
