In August 2020, Lea gave birth to the couple’s first child, a son named Ever. She makes a point not to post photos of the little one’s face on social media and said she wants to “protect” him from “aspects of the [entertainment] industry that are not pretty.” “Would I like him to go to college and maybe get a degree? Lea and Zandy put on a united front in 2023 when Ever was dealing with health issues. He was hospitalized in March 2023 for a “scary health issue.” Lea did not specify what was wrong with her toddler, but assured fans a few days later that he was on the mend. He was hospitalized again a few weeks later. “Ever's doing good. He's doing well," Lea said in April 2023. Lea Michele and Zandy Reich are living out their happily ever after! The pair's relationship started out as a friendship and eventually blossomed into something more. Now, they are happily married and the parents of two babies.

"He was always around and at a lot of these mutual friends' events," Lea explained in 2019. "It really all happened when I least expected it. It's a pretty awesome story."
