Kali Uchis Drops Bootsy Collins & Tyler, The Creator Featured Song ‘After the Storm’ Ahead of Debut Album
Following a Latin Grammy nomination for her song with Juaneson "El Ratico," and weeks after, a Grammy nomination for her collaboration with Daniel Caesaron "Get You,"Kali Uchis is ready to take 2018 by the horns.
On Friday (Jan. 11), the Colombiana singer-songwriter dropped a new single featuring the legendaryBootsy Collinsand longtime collaborator Tyler, The Creatorcalled "After the Storm," a timely record about weathering the dark to get to the light.

"We can find solace in the fact that we have to go through the bad stuff to truly get to the good," said Uchis of the track in a statement. "Just because you're losing at the moment doesn't mean you've lost yet. The storm may be scary now but it's how your flowers bloom later, and paradise is just beyond the rainbow."
