It's the trend that doesn't end. Kendall Jenner joined the phalanx of stars at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscars after party on Sunday. The creative director of the e-tailer FWRD rubbed shoulders with not only her sisters Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian, but some of Hollywood's most elite stars at the event. For it, she was one of quite a cohort of celebrities who chose sheer fabrics for this year's awards season.

For her take on it, Jenner wore a vintage Thierry Mugler dress. With its high neck, the design hailed from the designer's spring 1992 collection. It's a full length dress with a thigh high slit up the side. It was styled by Dani Michelle.

The shoes were also lace. She chose a pair of Manolo Blahnik's BB pumps . The upper is largely made of lace and features a satin back counter. The heel is just over four inches. The pump also includes a pointed toe.
Blahnik first made his BB pump in 2008. The shoe, which has come in a variety of colors and fabrics, was inspired by Brigitte Bardot. It is his version of one of the most classic and versatile heel silhouettes for a woman's closet. The likes of Meghan Markle, Selena Gomez , Kamala Harris and Melania Trump .
While there wasn't a ton of sheer footwear at the Vanity Fair Oscars after party there was some. In particular, Selma Blair wore a pair of Betsey Johnson d'Orsay style pumps. Those shoes included an embellished crosshatch design.

The 97th Academy Awards took place at the Dolby Theatre on March 2. "Anora" took home Best Picture and four more trophies, including Best Director for Sean Baker and Best Actress in a Leading Role for Mikey Madison . Additional Oscar winners included Adrien Brody, who won Best Actor in a Leading Role for "The Brutalist"; Zoe Saldaña , who earned the award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for "Emilia Pérez"; and Kieran Culkin, who nabbed the trophy for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for "A Real Pain."
