Lady Gaga Shines Bright With Her Massive Engagement Ring for ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ Photo Call at 2024 Venice Film Festival

Lady Gaga put a retro spin on minimalism at a photo call for her new film, "Joker: Folie à Deux" on Wednesday at the Venice Film Festival.

The singer and actress channeled 1960s fashion trends in a velvet Dior square-neck midi dress with subtle puff sleeves, accessorizing with a netted beret. Gaga completed her look with a pair of Tiffany & Co. diamond earrings, Celine sunglasses and platform Christian Louboutin pumps .

The "House of Gucci" star wore her platinum blond tresses in a half-updo, while her makeup consisted of winged eyeliner and mauve lipstick.

Gaga's engagement ring was also on full display: at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Gaga revealed that she was engaged to her longtime boyfriend, businessman Michael Polansky. He proposed to her with a massive oval-cut stone.

At the photo call, the Oscar-winner was accompanied by her "Joker" costar, Joaquin Phoenix, who dressed down in a white T-shirt, jeans and low-top Converse Chucks.

"Folie à Deux" is a sequel to Todd Phillips' box office hit, "Joker." Phillips also directs the new musical, which follows the Batman villain's romance with Harley Quinn, played by Gaga. The film premieres at the Venice Film Festival on Wednesday.

The Venice Film Festival, held annually in Italy, features new motion pictures from around the world. The 2024 jury is led by actress Isabelle Huppert, while this year's festival includes high-profile premieres of Tim Burton's "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice," Pedro Almodovar's "The Room Next Door" and "Babygirl" starring Nicole Kidman, among other films.
