Lady Gaga was spotted in New York yesterday prior to the release of her new album "Mayhem."
The "You And I" songstress stepped out in a pair of lofty platform combat boots. The rugged style was ankle-length and featured glossy black leather uppers accompanied by coordinating black lace-up closures. Rounded toes gave way to rubber accents and sky-high platform heels and equally thick block heels fixed with rubber tread, creating a non-slip feel.

The shoe pick is exceedingly similar to Balenciaga's Strike platform boot, which currently retails for $1,450 via the brand's website. Combat boots are a favorite of Gaga's, no matter the occasion. The beloved songstress tends towards grungy silhouettes, especially during her "Mayhem" era. Last we saw her, the star sported a similar pair of booties hailing from R13. The brand's Jump boot also includes platform soles accompanied by block heels.
Accompanying her grungy footwear, the "Poker Face" singer wore a black graphic tee partnered with black leggings. Layered overtop, she sported a black faux-fur cropped vest. As for accessories, Gaga toted a Hodakova belt bag in black paired with an embroidered cap and cat-eye sunglasses.
