'Little House on the Prairie' Actress Dead at 89
- Patty Maloney, known for her roles in Little House on the Prairie and the Star Wars Holiday Special, has passed away at the age of 89 after being in hospice care in Florida.

On March 31, her brother, Dave Myrabo, confirmed her death to The Hollywood Reporter . Maloney had reportedly been in hospice care in Winter Park, Fla., after "several" strokes in recent years.
"For a little person growing up in a big world, she did everything she wanted to do," Myrabo told the outlet.
Maloney appeared in several episodes of Little House on the Prairie and was known for portraying Chewbacca's son Lumpy in the 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special . She also played Honk in the series Far Out Space Nuts , among countless other TV roles. Her last acting credit was in a 2005 episode of My Name is Earl.
In 2010, Maloney was reportedly diagnosed with age-related macular degeneration (AMD), according to Men's Journal .
Maloney is survived by her brother, nieces, Jenniferand Laura, and her brother-in-law, Vic.
Less than two weeks before her death, another Little House on the Prairie alum, Jack Lilley , died at 91 . He played a variety of roles in the beloved series, and Melissa Gilberthonored him with an Instagram tribute .
"He lived quite a life," the actress who played Laura Ingalls Wilder, wrote in part. "I am so lucky that he was my friend."
