It's a new day for Good Day, DSM

This macaron and coffee stop is leaving Valley West Mall for The District at Prairie Trail in Ankeny.

"Thank you so much for your support over these last few months as we've been learning how to operate our very own storefront," Bebe and Anna Lam said on social media Thursday

The Lam sisters-in-law first opened their colorful macaron shop at the struggling West Des Moines shopping mall in February. They gained buzz with long weekend lines of locals gathering for "macaron restocks," a chance to buy packs of the French cookie from a rotating menu.

Good Day, DSM also has a limited menu of specialty coffees.

The owners of the company said they will be closed for a few months to construct a new cafe and kitchen.  Good Day, DSM will take over the storefront at The District formerly owned by shuttered floral shop Adina Blooms.
