Maren Morris, Brothers Osborne & Eric Church Perform Vegas Tribute ‘Tears In Heaven’ at the 2018 Grammys
Roughly four months since performing at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas, where a mass shooting on Oct. 1 killed 58 and injured hundreds, Maren Morris, Brothers Osborne and Eric Church joined forces on the Grammys stage to tribute victims of the tragedy.
"We all performed in Las Vegas that tragic weekend," Morris explained onstage, "and we wanted to come together and honor the memory of the beautiful, music-loving souls so cruelly taken from us." That tribute came in the form of an emotive acoustic rendition of "Tears In Heaven," which the trio sang as handwritten notes bearing the names of shooting victims flashed on the screen behind them.

"Maren, us and Eric performed that weekend at Route 91 Harvest Festival, and we feel very closely connected to that tragedy. We feel as artists, we're indebted to these people and indebted to the world to try to shed some light on this really terrible thing," John Osborne told Billboard on the Grammys red carpet earlier this evening. "Hopefully, along the way, we can bring a little happiness and maybe some peace to somebody."
Morris received a Grammy nod for best country solo performance ("I Could Use A Love Song"), while Brothers Osborne were nominated for best country duo/group performance ("It Ain't My Fault").
