Mary J. Blige brings her 'For My Fans' tour to Columbus next year
This one is for the fans.
The fans are who soul-music icon Mary J. Blige is devoting her 2025 "For My Fans" tour to, with a stop in Columbus.
Blige will perform at Nationwide Arena, 200 W. Nationwide Blvd., on April 2. Presale tickets are available on ticketmaster.com . General-admission tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
Blige's 27-city tour will kick off Jan. 30 in Greensboro, North Carolina, and will conclude in Boston on April 14. With her are Grammy Award-winning and Grammy-nominated R&B singers Ne-Yo and Mario.
Ahead of the tour, she will not only release her 15th studio album, "Gratitude," on Nov. 15, but also be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on Oct. 19 in Cleveland.
"I am so excited to kick off this tour. I have amazing fans and am so grateful for all the love and support they have given me throughout the years," Blige said in a press release. "This tour is for them, and I cannot wait to be able to travel to all these cities and see everyone."
Blige is a Grammy and Emmy Award-winning artist, as well as an Oscar-nominated artist who is widely accepted as the " Queen of Hip-Hop Soul ."
Fans can now listen to her newest single from the album "Breathing," featuring hip-hop artist Fabolous, that was released in August.
