Migos Clarify iLoveMakonnen Comments: ‘We Have No Problem With Anyone’s Sexual Preference’
Atlanta rap trioMigos were criticized for their recent comments in a Rolling Stone feature, where the "Bad and Boujee" hitmakers were asked about fellow ATL rep iLoveMakonnen coming out as gay on Twitter.
Migos member Quavo was quoted as saying, "They supported him?" in reference to the online support the "Tuesday" MC received followinghis announcementearlier this month. "That's because the world is f—ed up," said Offset, as Takeoff added, "This world is not right." Quavo also noted, "We ain't saying it's nothing wrong with the gays."

In a tweet posted Wednesday (Feb. 8), Migos clarified their comments in a statement.
"We always been about being original and staying true. Staying true to yourself goes a long way," the note read. "We are all fans of Makonnen's music and we wish he didn't feel like he ever had to hide himself. We feel the world is f—ed up that people feel like they have to hide and we're asked to comment on someone's sexuality."
The statement continued, "We have no problem with anyone's sexual preference. We love all people, gay or straight and we apologize if we offended anyone."
Migos' sophomore studio effort Culture recently debuted at No. 1 on theBillboard 200.
