Milwaukee Night Market releases dates and information for summer 2025
The mega-popular Milwaukee Night Market is returning to West Wisconsin Avenue for four Wednesday nights this summer.
The free-to-attend outdoor market, which runs from 5 to 10 p.m., is organized by the Westown Association . Each night features over 100 local vendors selling a variety of food, beverages, art, home goods and more. Attendees can also enjoy live performances and art creation, tabling from community organizations and interactive activities for all ages. Past highlights have included a dance party, giant chess, DJs and poster painting.
"The Night Market creates a unique environment for the community to come together and celebrate Milwaukee's talented, local entrepreneurs and performers," Westown Association executive director Stacie Callies said in a statement.
The market transforms West Wisconsin Avenue "from central business district during the day to an open-air market and dance floor at night," she continued. Each night attracts thousands of people who maneuver shoulder-to-shoulder between vendors.
The market was started more than a decade ago by the local engagement agency NEWaukee, which wanted to create "a safe and interactive place in downtown Milwaukee that draws diverse residents and visitors and (changes) perceptions of downtown," the market's website says. In 2021, the Westown Association acquired the market from NEWaukee. Despite a COVID-era hiatus , the market has grown to attract over 100,000 people annually.
