‘A Minecraft Movie’: All The Box Office Records Broken
- Warner Bros and Legendary's "A Minecraft Movie" had a record-breaking global box office opening weekend, grossing $313.7 million worldwide.
This past weekend, following a first quarter when the industry fretted that moviegoers forgot about going to the movies, Warner Bros and Legendary revived the global and domestic box office with the Jared Hess -directed A Minecraft Movie , which saw a $163 million U.S.-Canada opening , $150.7M abroad and $313.7M worldwide .
