Beau Starr cause of death: What we know on 'Halloween' veteran actor

Veteran actor Beau Starr, best known as Sheriff Ben Meeker from the Halloween film series, has died at 81.

His brother and fellow actor, Mike Starr, confirmed Beau Starr's death to TMZ , citing natural causes.

Starr played Sheriff Meeker in Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers and Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers . He also had roles in films like Goodfellas , Cinderella Man , Born on the Fourth of July and Fletch .

He briefly played in the CFL for the Montreal Alouettes in 1969 and Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 1970. What sad news.
