Aubrey O’Day Claims ‘Very Huge Star’ Offered $50K to Get Intimate with Her
- Aubrey O'Day revealed on a podcast that she was offered money for sex by two famous singers in the music industry.
Danity Kane's Aubrey O'Day is opening up about the "gatekeepers" in the music industry — and how a pair of singers offered her money for sex.
O'Day, 42, made the bold claim on the Thursday, September 3 episode of the Creators Inc. Podcast , hosted by Andrew Bachman . The subject came up after Bachman mentioned how much easier it is for people to become famous in 2026 , thanks to social media, than it was when the Making the Band star made it big in 2005.
"It's not like it used to be," the "Damaged" singer explained. "There were gatekeepers and only certain people could be famous and those people were gods. But we only have a few golden gods left — Beyonce , Taylor [Swift] — there will never be that again, that's over with, because gatekeepers are gone now."
Looking back at the mid-aughts, O'Day said that "some of the gatekeepers were dirty and you had to [expletive] for tracks."
Sean "Diddy" Combs ' former protege then claimed she once "was given an offer from a very huge star that's on tour right now and probably one of your favorite artists ever, $50,000 for a [expletive] from one of them."
The Celebrity Apprentice alum further claimed that if she slept with the man in question, he'd agree to be on her first single and sign her to his label.

He wasn't the only one offering to pay her for sex, said O'Day.
"The other one who's on tour now with two other guys that are very famous, I think it was like $150,000 a [expletive]," she said, adding that she "would take neither of that, by the way."
According to the singer, her manager at the time would actually present the offers to her, adding, "It was [expletive] nuts what was going on."
While O'Day didn't name names, Bachman asked her who was the "worst of the worst."
"They have federal people figuring that out. Let me let them do their job," she replied, adding, "There was a lot of dirty play going on that they still need to be investigating federally."
