Country music star breaks silence on satanic ritual claims: ‘Horse(expletive)’
After more than a week of accusations and even a comment from the Church of Satan, country music star Zac Brown has finally broken his silence regarding the social media buzz that his residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas has created.
For folks that missed it, the imagery used in the show prompted some on social media to accuse Brown of performing a satanic ritual. Video from Brown’s Dec. 12 performance in Las Vegas shows him addressing the issue with crowd at the end of the night, per Taste of Country.
“Thank y’all for such an incredible, incredible night tonight,” Brown told the crowd. “I want to say a little something about this show because there’s a lot of people that picked It up online saying that we are doing some kind of satanic ritual or something like that. I don’t think we can put any more love and light into a show than what we put into this one.”
Fans cheered as Brown continued.
“And I think there are forces out there that don’t want this message to get out, so if you get a minute drop somebody a comment or something online that’s trying to say that we are trying to worship the devil which is horseshit,” he added.
The band began its “Love & Fear” residency on Dec. 5, and as Whiskey Riff noted ,videos from the opening of the show “appeared to be a descent into Hell.” TikTok videos shared from the concert show Brown playing while wearing a crown that looked a whole heck of a lot like horns while being surrounded by skeletal, Devil-like images.
Some fans took it and ran with it.
So, with all the noise around the show, TMZ took it a step further and actually reached out to the Church of Satan about the accusations and asked if what folks saw was actually a “Satanic ritual.”
Satanic Rev. Jared Mammon told TMZ that the imagery was, in fact, not part of any such ritual. The outlet said that Mammon told them the uproar was part of decades-old hysteria where folks identify “everything that amounts to glorified Halloween decorations as ‘Satanic.’”
TMZ said Mammon encouraged folks “who are frightened by theatrical skeletons wearing crows to pause for a moment to reflect on their knee-jerk reaction and consider the implications before jumping to lengths worthy of an Olympic gold medal.”
It remains to be seen how this take from the Church of Satan or Brown’s declaration will land with the fans who lashed out at the band about its show because things were not pretty on social media.

“Zac Brown Band performed a demonic ritual at the sphere,” Truth Seeker posted on X. “Most of these concerts are energy harvesting rituals.”
