Country music star calls out fan’s shirt: ‘Come to my show wearing Luke Bryan (crap)?’
Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan are buddies and there is a friendly rivalry there.
Enough of a rivalry, it appears, that if you mess up and wear a Luke Bryan shirt to a Blake Shelton concert you might just get called out for it in front of everyone in attendance.
Someone found that out the hard way during one of Shelton's recent shows in Caesar's Place in Las Vegas.
Video showed Shelton making his way across the stage when he looked down and spotted the offending fan.
"You come to my show wearing Luke Bryan (crap)," he said to a woman who was also filming the exchange. "What's the matter with you?
"That guy's an idiot," Shelton added.
Shelton then pointed toward the woman and directed, "Get her some merch. On me."
He then turned around, and said, "Luke Bryan. You've obviously been to one of his shows right?"
The woman answered that she had, and that set up Shelton for the punchline.
"You ever notice he always does the, 'Y'all sing along?'" the singer asked. "It's because he's too drunk to remember the words to his own songs. Drunk and high. Put that on YouTube. Put it on your Instagram."
Again, as Taste of Country noted , it was all just a bit of good fun as the site said that Shelton and Bryan are "like brothers."
Now it may be time for someone to throw on a Blake Shelton shirt and head on out to a Luke Bryan show to give him a chance at a rebuttal.
