Country star slams reports that she is living with newly divorced singer: ‘Ridiculous’
There has been plenty of speculation about Keith Urban, and who he might be dating since his split last year from wife and iconic actress Nicole Kidman.
The latest speculation focused on the 58-year-old and a rumored relationship with 25-year-old country music singer Karley Scott Collins. Those rumors developed into headlines that suggested the two are even living together.
Collins noticed and we know that because she shared a photo of a headline that suggested the two were living together on her Instagram stories and gave her thoughts on it all.
"Yall, this is absolutely RIDICULOUS and untrue," she wrote.
People Magazine reported that it reached out to reps of both singers for comment but had yet to receive a response.
This comes as Urban and Kidman just finalized their divorce in early January.
USA Today reported that the divorce was finalized on Tuesday, Jan. 6 in Tennessee.
Urban and Kidman were married for 19 years and share daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15.
USA Today reported that they agreed to a parenting plan and have waived rights to spousal support. E News reported that Urban and Kidman agreed that all of their property, bank accounts and investments "to the mutual satisfaction of both parties."
Kidman, 58, filed for divorce from Urban in September citing "marital difficulties and irreconcilable differences."
The site reported that as part of the parenting plan, Nicole would spend 306 days per year with her daughters while Urban, who is often out on tour, would get custody every other weekend for a total of 59 days.
Taste of Country noted that TMZ first reported that the news, citing a source who said they have been split up since the start of the summer. The Daily Mail said that Urban initiated it all because he was seeing little of Kidman due to her busy filming schedule.
People Magazine reported that Kidman had been trying to save the marriage prior to filing for the divorce.
