Jacquie from Jersey Shore gets a Golden Ticket on 'American Idol'

She put a spell on the "American Idol" judges.

Jacquie Lee of Colts Neck earned a Golden Ticket to Hollywood Week of "American Idol" on the show's Monday, Jan. 26 season premiere.

Lee's version of the Screaming Jay Hawkins' classic "I Put a Spell on You" soared with musical sorcery.

"You have a bring-the-house-down voice!" exclaimed said judge Lionel Richie. "It's a yes for me."

Fellow judges Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan immediately concurred.

Sharp eyed -- and sharp eared -- fans might recognize Lee from her run on "The Voice" in 2013 when she finished second to champ Tessanne Chin on Season 5. Lee, then 16, starred under the mentorship of pop superstar Christina Aguilera on "The Voice."

On Monday, first round auditions from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee were shown.

Upcoming, look for another Jersey Shore talent on "Idol." Jake Thistle, a rising star on the Asbury Park scene, is scheduled to appear on the show. The Paramus native recently shared a stage with Bruce Springsteen at the Jan. 17 Light of Day main event in the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank.

"American Idol" airs 8 p.m. Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC. Episodes are available to stream the next day on Hulu.
