Legendary rock band Queen appears to be nearing an end to their touring days.

Anita Dobson, the wife of Queen's guitarist, Brian May, shared news of the band's future in an interview with Mirror.

"They will do little bits and bobs, but they won't do those big tours," she said. "We are all getting old."

The news comes after drummer Roger Taylor told Rolling stone earlier this year that they had no plans for a farewell tour.

"I don't think we're done," he said. "And I don't think we're going to say a final farewell tour. Because it never is, is it?"

May has made headlines in the past year after suffering a minor stroke in September 2024. The guitarist shared that he temporarily lost control of his left arm.

"Good news is that I can play guitar after the events of the last few days and I say this because it was in some doubt because that little health hiccup that I mentioned happened about a week ago ... it was a minor stroke and all of a sudden, out of the blue, I didn't have any control over this arm. So was a little scary," he said at the time.

After last year's health scare, May told ITV last month that he's taken steps to take care of himself.

"I keep moving, I do my biking a lot of times a week," he said. "I do a hundred lengths in the pool once a week. To me, that's what's keeping me going. That's what's keeping me alive."

Queen is one of the best selling musical acts of all time. They are best known for their hit songs "We Will Rock You," "We Are The Champions" and "Bohemian Rhapsody."

They were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.
