Popular singer says ER trip kept her reunion tour opener: ‘My heart is broken’

It was one heck of a week for Aubrey O'Day.

The singer missed the reunion show in Los Angeles with her old group, Danity Kane, on Wednesday, but she rebounded well enough to make Friday's show in Uncasville, Connecticut.

She shared a series of videos to her Instagram stories — one declaring "I made it out of the ER" — and several others showing clips of the show. And she seemed to be in pretty good spirits.

That was different that what went down in Los Angeles, though, as she had to miss the show for a trip to the emergency room.

"My loves … I am so sorry," she wrote on Instagram about not being able to make the show. "I've become extremely sick and physically can't make tonight's show as I'm in the ER.

"I've been fighting it all day, spinning around in my head trying to find any way to make this work, but being sick is being sick — it's completely out of my control," she added. "My heart is broken because I never wanted to let you down."

People Magazine reported that Aundrea Fimbres and D. Woods performed as a duo with O'Day.

O'Day, Fimbres and Woods are out on the reunion tour — which is slated to have a stop in Pittsburgh on Dec. 16 and Philadelphia on Dec. 17 — while former Danity Kane members Dawn Richard and Shannon Bex are not taking part.

O'Day has been in the headlines plenty outside of the tour, and recently took part in the Netflix series, "Sean Combs: The Reckoning." According to People Magazine , she describes a time when Combs crossed the line in their working relationship when she claims he sent her a sexually explicit email.

"What happens in real life to anyone else, your boss gets fired," she said. "Six months later, I was fired."
