Rock icon stops show to order fan to leave: ‘We don’t need you here’

Rod Stewart might be 80, but he still has some fire, and if you don't believe it just check out the video from his recent concert in Athens. Greece.

As Stewart's band rolled through "Do You Think I'm Sexy?", Stewart steps to the front of the stage without singing and begins to motion toward someone in the crowd. He then let loose.

"Out the (expletive) way," he said into his microphone. "You're spoiling the show for everybody. Out the way. Leave. We don't need you here."

It was unclear who exactly the rocker was telling to get the heck out, but Parade reported that fans seemed to believe he was talking to a fan or security guard who might have confronted someone about a sign.

And there is good reason to believe that because Stewart wasn't through.

"All she's doing is putting up a sign," he said. "It's not hurting you, is it, mate?"

The situation appeared to resolve fairly quickly, and with that Stewart spun back to face his band and told them to take the song from the top.

As Parade noted, fans debated who was in the right in the situation.

"It's his show," one person wrote. "He can do whatever he'd like. Go Rod!!!"

"What an absolute legend of a man," another replied. "Go on Sir Rod."

"I'd be so jealous of the man he kicked out if I found myself at Rod Stewart's show," another wrote.

"He acts like a grumpy old man," another wrote. "Seen this a few times."
