Which Nashville restaurant makes the city's best French fries?

We'd like to answer that question in time for National French Fry Day on July 12, so we put it to a vote.

We scoured message boards, best-of lists and restaurant reviews. Then we asked around the Tennessean newsroom. Nashville's favorite fries range from those you can find at classic burger joints, to Greek street fries, a variety of loaded fries and Indian fusion poutine.

But which is the very best? Readers voted in our poll through Wednesday morning.

The results will be published next week. The winner will also land on a USA TODAY roundup of the nation's best fries.
