Neil Leifer's Iconic Photo Collection Shows the Grit & Grace of Female Athletes
Renowned sports photographer Neil Leifer , whose career spanned over 50 years, was also an avid collector of prints by other photographers. His personal collection is being auctioned beginning December 2 by Guernsey's , and it includes photographs by Annie Leibovitz and Mary Ellen Mark, iconic images of Marilyn Monroe, Jackson Pollock, and nearly 100 photographs of Muhammad Ali.
