According to Minaj, Swift told her, "I didn't understand the big picture, but now I get it."
As far as her initial complaints about the VMA nominations, Minaj told GMA that "'Anaconda' just had such a huge cultural impact. And on top of that, we broke the Vevo record!

"I do think that if it had been one of the pop girls," Minaj reiterated, "it would have been nominated." Minaj added that her goal is to have "both images for girls. We can't have only one type of body glorified in the media, because it just makes girls even more insecure than we already are.
"It's over, you guys," Minaj clarified at towards the end of the interview. "It takes a big person to do what Taylor did. We spoke for a long time, we were cracking up laughing on the phone."
