Oshkosh's can't-miss events include Caramel Crisp anniversary and jazz at The Paine
OSHKOSH - Celebrate with Caramel Crisp as the business marks its 90th anniversary.

There's Jazz in the Gardens at The Paine, a run/walk for Solutions Recovery, or a golf outing for Saving Sully Dog Rescue.

Here are your five can't-miss events happening in the community this week.
1. Caramel Crisp celebrates its 90th anniversary
Caramel Crisp will hold a 90th anniversary party from noon to 3 p.m. Sept. 10 at 200 City Center, D.
There will be music, food and games as well as special celebration T-shirts.
The business has changed hands several times since it was first opened in 1933 on Main Street. The products the store offers also has changed and grown. A toy store, gift shop and bookstore have all been added to the shop. The menu expanded as well to include breakfast and lunch options, even ice cream.
2. Enjoy a night of jazz at The Paine's fundraising event
Enjoy an evening of Jazz in the Gardens Sept. 9 at Paine Art Center & Gardens , 1410 Algoma Blvd., Oshkosh. The celebration of the Paine's 75th anniversary will be 5 to 11 p.m. and includes music, dinner and dancing.
Music will be performed by Pegasis, with special guest Steve March Tormé, and dance performances by Boogie Ballroom.
This is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Paine. Reserve a seat at thepaine.org/event/jazz-in-the-gardens .
3. Solutions Recovery hosts run/walk Sept. 10
Solutions Recovery will hold Recovery Fest Sept. 10 at the center, 621 Evans St., Oshkosh.
Featuring the Rethink Run/Walk, the event will be 7 to 3 p.m.
Other activities include a kid zone and games. There also will be food and live music.

4. Golf outing to benefit Saving Sully Dog Rescue
The second annual golf outing for Saving Sully Dog Rescue will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 10 at Far Vu Golf Course, 4985 County R, Oshkosh.
Saving Sully is a non-profit organization that rehabilitates at-risk dogs that would otherwise be euthanized. Proceeds go to medical funding for dogs.
The outing is $65 per person and includes 18 holes, cart, flag event, lunch and donation. Check-in starts at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. To register, call 920-279-2479.
5. Music on Main winds up season with September concerts
Music on Main continues each Wednesday in September. Listen to live music from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Opera House Square, 315 N. Main St. Sept. 27 is the last concert of the season.
Grab supper to go from one of the downtown restaurants, then enjoy a meal while listening to live music.
