Paul McCartney Remembers Late First Wife Linda With Instagram Post: ‘Beautiful Memories’

Sir Paul McCartney'sInstagram page is filled with family photos, fan art, and his current moves on tour and in studio. On April 17, the 75-year-old legend took to the platform to share a picture of his first wifeLindaon the 20th anniversary of her death. He accompanied the beautiful image with a short but sweet caption: "Remembering Linda with love today. Beautiful memories."

Paul and Linda's love story is one for the history books: they were married (and inseparable) from 1969 until her death in 1998, after a three-year battle with breast cancer. Following the dissolution ofThe Beatlesin 1970, they were also a rock power couple as founding members of the chart-topping bandWings.
