My order:It's difficult not to order a classic gyro sandwich at this longstanding, popular eatery, but I opted for something different this time: a gyro horseshoe ($12.50). Over pita bread was a pile of sliced gyro meat, tomatoes, onions, cheese sauce, tzatziki sauce, and fries. It was a different take on a shoe, one that was quite hearty. My dining companion had the gyro salad ($9.25 small/$12 large), a blend of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, Kalamata olives, pepperoncini, feta cheese, and gyro meat with a Greek vinaigrette. It got a thumbs-up as well.

Dislikes:None

What would I order next time:?I'd like to try the hummus with toasted pita bread.
