Sea Witch Festival Costume Parade delights, scares, draws laughs

The Sea Witch Festival Costume Parade brought out some fun, wacky and scary characters Saturday in Rehoboth Beach.

The parade is part of the biggest family-friendly Halloween event in Delaware, the Sea Witch Festival, which attracts thousands to the city over an October weekend. The festivities, which include live music, a kids' corner and artisan vendors, started Friday and end Sunday.

On Sunday, a major highlight is the costumed dog parade, featuring cuddly pets marching down the Rehoboth boardwalk at 1 p.m.
