As always, the segment found the performers crowded into a tight room, all jamming out to Mendes' platinum-selling single using basic instruments including a kazoo, tambourine, bongos, hand clappers and ukulele. Fallon did his bit by playing a woodblock, while Mendes slapped a spoon.
"I know I can treat you better/ Than he can," belted Fallon alongside Mendes on the chorus. The lighthearted rendition gained momentum as Fallon continued to goof around as if he were a kid in an actual classroom. Fallon silenced the band right after the bridge, and they all burst out in one final, fun-filled conclusion.
